Moon High

Last night we had the pleasure to play with one of my favorite bands, Moon High. If you have never heard or seen them, you should. There music is incredibly well written and their live performance is strikingly good. They exhibit so much control and subtlety, it's completely awesome. Last night they were especially fantastic and they did a great rendition of The Band's Bessie Smith. Anyway, you should visit their website, buy their album and then make the time to see them.

We have been pretty overwhelmed with finishing up things for our new album. It's coming together though. As I write this, I am listening to round 2 of our mixes and making notes. So far, so good.

We're going to be focused on finishing things up with the album for the rest of the month, but September is shaping up to have all sorts of awesome stuff. 2 Columbus shows, we're back in Dayton for the 2nd Annual Cyclops Fest, and 2 dates with our good buddies The Sidekicks!

Today we returned from finishing our new full length album. There is still mixing to be done, but other than that all of the pieces are in place. I really can't tell you how excited I am! I will keep you updated with release information as soon as it is finalized. Thanks!

This Saturday with Friends

Last night in the humidity and heat of Matt O'Conke's Basement, we had the pleasure of playing music with a few of our dear friends. Ben Ryant, Andy Cook and Bobby Stevens will be playing at the 83 Gallery Parking Lot Party with us and a number of other awesome folks this Saturday, July 7th starting at 6pm. We have had the pleasure to know and play music with these guys for a number of years and when we are able to be together and make music as a group, it is always a wonderful experience. Both Andy and Bobby have excellent releases that I highly recommend you listen to (links down below) as well. So if you are out doing the Gallery Hop or bored on a Saturday night, I would like to invite you to stop by the Mikey's Late Night Slice/83 Gallery parking lot for some music and fun. Thanks.
